Famed photographer Gordon Parks died yesterday from prostate cancer at the age of 93. Parks was born on November 30, 1912. Among his numerous accomplishments, Parks directed ”Shaft” and worked as a photographer for Life magazine, Glamour, Vogue, and the US government. He wrote ”The Learning Tree” then brought it to the screen, and was an accomplished musician.
